Design and execute research studies to define what “good performance” means across contexts, industries, and candidate types. Build datasets, annotation frameworks, and ground truth labels for ML evaluation. Own the bias audit process to identify and address differential treatment across groups. Conduct customer and industry interviews to translate signals into measurable constructs. Write and maintain documentation on research methodology for product, ML, and commercial teams. Stay current on literature in educational measurement, psychometrics, algorithmic fairness, and LLM evaluation, and apply applicable ideas. Communicate findings to non-researchers and collaborate with product managers, engineers, and customers.
