Job Summary
Internship to contribute to the research and development of fully autonomous trading agents. You will explore vast market data, research AI approaches, and apply cutting-edge machine learning and statistical methods to discover and capitalize on trading opportunities. Collaborate with researchers, traders, and technologists to apply rigorous analytics, time-series analysis, and numerical computing in Python and C++ within a Linux environment. The role emphasizes scholarly inquiry, open collaboration, and exposure to financial markets with mentorship to develop research skills and publishings in AI/ML domains.
Required Qualifications
- Earned or will earn a PhD or Master\'s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related fields
- Demonstrable experience coding in C++ or Python in a Linux environment
- Experience analyzing large datasets with statistical and machine learning approaches (classification, clustering, regression)
- Strong knowledge of AI, deep learning, and ML algorithms with mathematical underpinnings
- Innate curiosity for understanding why and how techniques work
- Deep knowledge of time-series analysis
- Advanced knowledge of Python (numpy/scipy stack) for numerical analysis
- Contributions to AI/ML research communities and publications at conferences (optional)
- Interest and enthusiasm for learning about financial markets
