Job Summary

Bridge cutting-edge applied AI research with production engineering: design, prototype, and ship ML systems across natural language, vision, and data domains; translate business problems into scoped ML formulations with clear success metrics; build production-quality training/inference pipelines; optimize for accuracy, latency, throughput, and cost; develop tooling for dataset construction, labeling, and data quality monitoring; collaborate with product/design/domain experts; implement safety, fairness, and reliability evaluations; mentor engineers on ML methodology and deployment; contribute to internal knowledge sharing and roadmap influence. Required hands-on ML experience, strong Python skills, and a track record of moving models from research to production.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or closely related field or equivalent applied experience
  • Six or more years of combined research and applied ML engineering experience
  • Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch or JAX)
  • Hands-on experience training, fine-tuning, evaluating deep learning models at scale
  • Experience taking ML models from research to production with observability and safeguards
  • Familiarity with distributed training, mixed-precision training, accelerator hardware
  • Strong communication skills and ability to document research and deployment decisions
  • Track record of shipping applied AI projects
