Job Summary
Cadre AI is seeking an AI Research Analyst who will evaluate whether to build, buy, or integrate solutions for enterprise clients, using transcripts, client materials, and hands-on testing to produce client-ready analyses. Responsibilities include reviewing discovery transcripts and client materials, assessing blocks as build/buy/integrate with evidence-based reasoning, evaluating vendors and managed offerings against Cadre's catalog and roadmap, running technical demos, staying current on the AI tooling landscape, and delivering ready-to-use research handoffs to Sales Engineering and Product Engineering. The role emphasizes fast turnaround from discovery to handoff, flagging open questions, surfacing additional relevant blocks, and providing clear recommendations under uncertainty. Key skills include practical AI/enterprise software experience, familiarity with LLMs, automation platforms, voice AI, integration layers, and strong written output. The position offers ownership, builder culture, and direct exposure to leadership and clients. Location is Colombia with remote work options.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years in research, technical analysis, or applied AI work
- Working knowledge of LLMs, automation platforms, voice AI, and integration layers
- Hands-on technical ability; you can spin up platforms, build a working demo, and stress-test vendor claims
- Ability to read a messy call transcript and extract a clean, actionable picture of what the client actually needs
- Strong written output; your research feeds directly into client-facing work and needs to be precise
- Comfortable making a recommendation under uncertainty; you do not need perfect data to take a position
- Fast. Time from discovery call to research handoff is a key metric this role owns
- Comfortable evaluating vendors and managed offerings on their merits; you can spot when a partner platform is genuinely better than building
