Job Summary
Lead strategic planning, requirements definition, and delivery of AI solutions by defining program vision, roadmaps, and prioritized backlogs. Elicit, document, and validate functional and technical requirements, including AI model integration, data flows, and security needs. Serve as primary liaison between technical teams, leadership, and customers to translate needs into actionable requirements. Collaborate with vendors to integrate commercial off-the-shelf solutions, APIs, and automation tools while overseeing cross-functional teams through sprint planning, execution, and production deployment. Manage ongoing operations, maintenance, and annual release cycles, ensuring high system availability and security compliance. Track key performance indicators to drive iterative improvements and streamline business processes through automation and analytics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- 9+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Demonstrated success managing stakeholder relationships at multiple levels, including executive leadership
- Expertise in defining and documenting requirements
- Expertise in backlog management
- Expertise in agile product development
- Experience overseeing development teams across all phases of the SDLC
- Experience with testing
- Experience with deployment
- Experience with O&M
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with COTS integrations
- Familiarity with security/compliance frameworks
- Proven ability to deliver measurable improvements in user experience, adoption rates, and process efficiency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated
- Proactive
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Eligible to obtain a Department of Homeland Security EOD clearance
- US Citizenship
- Favorable Background Investigation
Desired Qualifications
- DHS EOD - 1st priority
- Any DHS badge + DoD Top Secret or Secret - 2nd choice
- DoD Secret or Top Secret + willingness to get EOD clearance
Additional Requirements
- Must be eligible to obtain a Department of Homeland Security EOD clearance (US Citizenship required and favorable background investigation)
