Job Summary
Applied AI Product Manager to lead the development and execution of AI-powered healthcare products. Own key AI product features, translate clinical and business needs into practical AI solutions, and ensure a strong user experience. Prototype and validate feasibility using tools like Streamlit, LangChain, or Python notebooks; verify prompt strategies across platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, Vertex AI) before production code. Bridge model constraints to product mechanics, collaborate with engineers to debug edge cases, and drive the transition from model performance to real-world user success. Design for trust, speed, explainability, and compliance in healthcare; build guardrails and human-in-the-loop workflows to keep AI safe and compliant. Handle real healthcare data (claims, EHR, patient-reported data) and balance magical user experience with commercial viability and cost. Focus on delivering healthcare AI features from concept to production while maintaining a pragmatic, outcomes-driven approach.
Required Qualifications
- 4–7 years of product experience
- 2+ years shipping AI/ML products
- technical fluency and CS/software engineer/data scientist background
- experience with LLMs, RAG, vector databases, fine-tuning vs. context injection
- read API docs and understand capabilities/limitations
- healthcare data experience
- prototype using Streamlit/LangChain/Python notebooks
- translate model constraints into product mechanics
- collaborate with Compliance, Design, and Engineering
- drive transition from model performance to product performance
