Job Summary
Design polished UX and build production frontend experiences using AI coding tools and the company design system. Take product problems from idea to spec, then design the interface and compose React components with AI agents to open pull requests. Debug build failures and refine component APIs, tokens, and documentation to make the design system AI-native. Validate outputs with real users and iterate quickly to compress the loop from concept to shipped product.
Required Qualifications
- Individual Contributor (IC) role
- 4+ years in product design
- deep UX thinking
- refined UI execution
- ability to defend every decision in a screen
- attention to 2px details
- fluency with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar
- comfort with React/TypeScript at component-composition level
- comfort at home in GitHub
- proof of build (link, repo, Loom, prototype, or shipped product)
- ability to personally design and build something
- AI fluency in spec writing
- ability to use LLMs to sharpen thinking
- ability to turn ambiguity into clear specs
- ability to explore variations fast
- ability to know when the model is confidently wrong
- ability to debug builds
- ability to help fix systems when AI output drifts off-system
