AI Product Builder (South Africa/Egypt)

Job Summary
The AI Product Manager will own and prioritize the product backlog for GenAI-powered products, manage sprint plannings and retros, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery. Responsibilities include conducting market research for AI-driven innovations, managing the entire lifecycle of the product from ideation to deployment, and presenting updates to stakeholders. Candidates should have a degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field, and should possess strong communication skills and experience with agile methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager
- Proven track record of successfully managing technically challenging products preferably with AI functionality
- Excellent conversational and written knowledge in English (C1 level minimum)
- Ability to create, maintain and prioritize backlogs, write comprehensive user stories and plan efficient sprints
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, software engineers, QA)
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and stakeholder management
- Deeply knowledgeable of agile and scrum methodologies, and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
- Outstanding presentation, public speaking, and communication skills
- Strong prioritization skills
- A problem-solver with an innovative and analytical mind
