Job Summary
AI Process Consultant embedded with client businesses to uncover operational friction, design future-state workflows, quantify ROI, and partner with AI Engineers to ship solutions; on-site engagements with small to mid-size businesses, owning client outcomes from discovery through post-deployment adoption, including stakeholder alignment, change management, and executive readouts. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years in a client-facing strategy/ops role, strong analytics (ROI modeling, SQL), familiarity with AI capabilities (LLMs, RAG), and ability to work independently in fast-moving client environments. Location-based in Chicago, IL, US; on-site work preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
- 2+ years of professional experience in management consulting, deployment strategy, technical program management, operations, or a similar client-facing strategic role
- Demonstrated track record of driving complex projects to measurable outcomes in client or stakeholder-facing environments
- Strong analytical foundation — comfortable with spreadsheets, ROI modeling, basic SQL, and quantitative reasoning; Python literacy is a plus but not required
- Working knowledge of modern AI capabilities and what LLMs, agents, and RAG systems can and can't do and the judgment to scope realistic AI solutions vs. avoid AI theater
- Ability to work independently in ambiguous, fast-moving client environments
- Exceptional communication skills; ability to run discovery interviews with a warehouse foreman and executive readouts with a CEO
- Problem-solver who can identify friction with operators and translate needs into actionable outcomes
