Job Summary
Support digital and AI-enabled initiatives by assisting with project scoping, prioritization, scheduling, and progress tracking across plant operations, development, and data teams. Coordinate meetings, document decisions, and maintain milestone trackers, risk logs, and escalation records while translating business needs into documented problem statements and project plans. Research developments in AI, machine vision, and data platforms to summarize findings and assist in comparing technology options against established criteria. Prepare clear status updates for management and support vendor research and coordination. This entry-level role involves working with technical specialists and business stakeholders under guidance from experienced team members to develop skills in stakeholder engagement and emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience in project coordination, business analysis, information technology, digital transformation, or a related field
- Relevant co-op, internship, or academic project experience
- Ability to organize and support multiple assignments in a cross-functional environment while maintaining attention to detail and meeting established timelines
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams and non-technical business partners
- Ability to gather information, ask thoughtful questions, and help document business or operational needs for technology initiatives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear updates and present information to varied audiences with appropriate guidance
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Desired Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Agile, hybrid, or traditional project delivery methods
- Co-op, internship, academic, or work experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or heavy industry environment
- Academic, project, or practical exposure to AI/ML technologies, data platforms, or machine vision systems
- Awareness of IT/OT integration or manufacturing control systems
