Job Summary
As AI Platform Engineer, you will build and scale the data- and AI-platform that underpins Vandelanotte's AI-driven services. You’ll design and implement performant data pipelines and a future-oriented dataplatform (warehouse or lakehouse) that connects multiple internal and external data sources. You will develop concrete AI solutions such as agents, copilots, and document intelligence, ensuring these capabilities are integrated into applications and processes to create tangible value. You’ll shape data architecture, make informed technology choices, and ensure seamless integration with ERP, CRM and payroll systems. You’ll drive scalability and reusability, translating ideas into durable products and components, balancing self-build versus external solutions, and operating with autonomy on architectural and tooling decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Master of bachelor in IT, computer science of gelijkwaardig
Desired Qualifications
- Master or bachelor in IT, computer science or equivalent
- 5–10 years experience in software and/or data engineering
- Strong in TypeScript / JavaScript and API development
- Experience with cloud (Azure / Fabric is a plus)
- Experience with data pipelines and dataplatforms
- Experience with LLM applications (agents, copilots, automation)
- Able to integrate AI practically into applications
- Systems and architecture thinking
- Focus on scalable, product-driven solutions
