Job Summary
Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate modern developer platforms across client engagements. Lead technical workstreams, pair with client engineers, and deliver production-ready infrastructure. Responsibilities span creating internal developer platforms (IDPs), managing IaC with Terraform/Pulumi/CDK, operating Kubernetes clusters (EKS/GKE/AKS), owning end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, and implementing secrets management. Also responsible for ensuring reliability and security through SRE practices, integrating security tooling, disaster-recovery planning, and compliance with client security standards. In the AI/ML space, design and operate infrastructure for AI workloads (GPU scheduling, model-serving runtimes, vector databases) and build MLOps pipelines with Kubeflow/MLflow. Engage with clients via technical discovery sessions, translate requirements into technical plans, coach client engineers, and produce ADRs and runbooks for handover. Essential experience includes cloud provider proficiency, Kubernetes, IaC tooling, CI/CD design, automation in Python/Bash/Go, and strong communication; ideal but not required experience includes AI/ML infra, LLM APIs, vector databases, Kafka, configuration management tools, and relevant certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Solid hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred; GCP or Azure accepted).
- Production experience with Kubernetes and familiarity with the surrounding ecosystem (Helm, ArgoCD / Flux, Karpenter, Cilium, etc.).
- Strong infrastructure-as-code skills, Terraform is the baseline; other tools are a bonus.
- Practical experience designing or operating CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Tekton, or similar).
- Comfort working in Linux environments and writing automation in Python, Bash, or Go.
- The ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to a mixed audience.
