Job Summary
AI Operations Associate (m/w/d) at Berlin-based startup; hands-on role operating Claude-powered AI pilots to process real insurance claims, identify where AI replaces manual work, and build scalable, automated workflows. You’ll become an internal expert on frontier AI and Claude, work closely with founders and elite AI engineers, and support enterprise pilots from first claim to full rollout. Responsibilities include mastering Claude prompt engineering and context management, mapping workflows, designing AI pipelines, writing SOPs, building automated review queues, ensuring high-quality customer interactions for DAX-listed insurers, and driving operational efficiency to scale volume. Year-1 focuses on processing claims, supporting client reviews, iterating on automation; Year-2+ opens paths to account ownership and platform delivery. Requirements emphasize top academic track record or equivalent proof of capability, 0-3 years in high-intensity environments, proficiency with Claude, structured analytical thinking, project management, excellent communication, and German/English fluency. Required Qualifications
- Top academic track record or equivalent proof of raw horsepower
- 0-3 years of experience in high-intensity environments: consulting, banking, or a BizOps / strategy role at a VC-backed startup
- Real proficiency with Claude or comparable frontier AI tools
- Structured, analytical thinking; comfortable building models, interpreting data, and turning outputs into decisions
- Strong project management instincts
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- German and English fluency
