Job Summary
AI Native Engineer role for Trend Micro Vision One XDR Workbench. Begin with one anchor domain (backend, frontend, or DevOps) and grow across domains while leveraging AI to accelerate the full engineering cycle. responsibilities include translating requirements into precise system specs using BDD/TDD, integrating AI tools throughout the development lifecycle—from spec writing and test generation to code review and debugging—and owning the full engineering cycle across frontend, backend, QA, and DevOps with data-driven validation to ensure solutions solve the problem. Required skills include backend Java and AWS, frontend JavaScript/React, and DevOps Docker/K8S/CI/CD; familiarity with AI-native development tools and a mindset to review AI-generated code with attention to API contracts, data models, and security boundaries. Big Plus: broad domain knowledge beyond the anchor area, cloud infrastructure familiarity, and operating at large scale.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science or related fields
- Experience in backend development using Java and AWS cloud services
- Experience in frontend development using browser JavaScript, React, and core web technologies (HTML/CSS/JS)
- Experience in DevOps with Docker/K8S/CI/CD and cloud infrastructure operations
- Hands-on experience with AI-native development tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) in a real project or side project
- Ability to critically review AI-generated code with awareness of system-wide concerns such as API contracts, data models, and security boundaries
