Job Summary
Lead the design and delivery of scalable microservices that integrate LLM-based tools within enterprise applications. Architect end-to-end AI-enabled systems, collaborating with AI/ML teams to embed LangChain, Agentic AI, MCP/A2A concepts, and other LLM orchestration frameworks. Translate business requirements into scalable, secure solutions, drive architectural alignment with enterprise standards, and lead technical discussions with product managers, data scientists, and platform teams. Experience with Python/Java, API design, event-driven architectures, cloud-native patterns, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD. Focus on building production-grade AI-enabled capabilities, including RAG implementations and integration with AI platforms (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face). Flexible Hybrid / Remote setup with Raleigh, NC as the listed location.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of backend development experience
- Proficiency in Python and/or Java
- Experience designing and deploying microservices architectures
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, especially LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI agents
- Familiarity with LangChain, Agentic AI, or similar LLM orchestration frameworks
- Experience integrating with AI platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face)
- API design expertise and event-driven system design
- Hands-on experience with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- CI/CD pipeline experience
- Production-level RAG implementation experience
- Exposure to MCP, A2A concepts
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience leading technical discussions with product managers and data scientists
