Job Summary
The AI/ML Engineer will support the development of AI/ML algorithms in areas including object detection, natural language processing, and reinforcement learning. Responsibilities include analyzing multi-domain datasets, using cloud services to train and deploy models, implementing machine learning algorithms, and writing technical documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience working in research teams, effective communication skills, and a strong background in Python and relevant libraries.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with CI Poly U.S. Government Security Clearance
- 2+ years of experience developing AI/ML applications, data science, and/or algorithm development
- BS in machine learning, computer science, mathematics, or relevant fields
- Experience with Python and libraries such as Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, Pytorch
- Effective communicator with the ability to write and present technical reports
- Experience with applying unsupervised and/or supervised machine learning techniques
- Experience analyzing large datasets and building models for inference
Desired Qualifications
- MS or PhD in machine learning, computer science, mathematics, or relevant fields
- Experience leading an interdisciplinary team of researchers and software developers
- Experience with Large Language Models, Object detection algorithms, Natural Language Processing algorithms
- Experience with Machine Learning libraries such as Hugging Face and LangChain
- Experience implementing algorithms on GPU using CUDA
- Familiarity with AWS cloud computing resources
- Experience working with Remote Sensing datasets
- Experience shaping and writing proposals
