Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer to lead the design/build of data-driven products leveraging AI/ML to ingest, process, and derive actionable insights from large-scale unstructured data. Responsibilities include system architecture for high-load production environments, intelligent data acquisition, AI/ML pipeline integration, building high-throughput data pipelines, optimizing data storage/retrieval across relational databases and modern data warehouses, and evaluating tools for data engineering and applied AI. Emphasizes turning proofs-of-concept into scalable systems, collaborating with leadership, and delivering data-driven automation to support sales teams and partners. Required: 5+ years backend experience, Python expert, handling unstructured data, production ML, relational DB and Snowflake, APIs, and cloud-native deployment; with preferred qualifications including containerization and CS degree.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years backend software engineering experience
- Expert-level proficiency in Python
- Experience building systems that ingest and structure large amounts of external data
- Practical experience integrating Machine Learning into production software workflows
- Strong understanding of relational databases and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred)
- Experience designing and consuming complex APIs to connect internal services with third-party data providers
- Cloud-native experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience with containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration tools (Airflow or Celery)
