AI/ML Data Engineer

AI/ML Data Engineer to transform data and incident response processes into a robust, secure, and production-ready AI system. Responsibilities include developing and operating data pipelines (ingestion, normalization, enrichment) for security events; implementing end-to-end integrations with SOC and ITSM tools to ensure data consistency and quality; supporting the incident lifecycle (triage, investigation, response) with AI-assisted models and automated playbooks; reducing operational noise and improving incident prioritization; implementing and evolving automation and orchestration workflows (SOAR); ensuring MLOps/AIOps practices (versioning, performance monitoring, drift detection); guaranteeing governance, security, and compliance in the use of data and AI models; mitigating risks such as prompt injection and data leakage; collaborating with vendors and internal teams on AI solutions; contributing to technical and strategic decision-making including risk and ROI analysis; requires Python, SQL/PostgreSQL, ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), Git, logging/observability, and access-control knowledge; Nice-to-Have: SIEM, SOAR, EDR, high-availability infrastructure, MLOps/AIOps, and AI governance; Soft skills include autonomy, critical thinking, collaboration, and a continuous improvement mindset; Workplace is Hybrid (max 3 days in the office) in Lisbon, Portugal.
