Job Summary
AI/ML Automation Engineer responsible for specifying, designing and maintaining automation equipment, tooling and applications; define and drive the AI/ML and automation strategy for CEC sites; design scalable AI/ML-enabled automation solutions including data pipelines, edge/cloud architectures, and MLOps patterns; establish cross-site automation/AI forums for knowledge sharing; support SOW definition through deployment and costed business cases; improve and modernize factory automation with AI/ML, advanced analytics, and data-driven decisioning; requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 5+ years in industrial/manufacturing automation with ROI-backed capex experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
- 5+ years delivering industrial or manufacturing automation solutions
- Experience developing capex-backed automation solutions with ROI justification
- Strong understanding of automation architectures and system integration
- Multi-site or global manufacturing experience
- New business capture or proposal engineering experience
