Job Summary
AI Engineer Intern in Black Box's AI Center of Excellence (CoE) focused on building enterprise-grade AI solutions using pre-trained LLMs for chat, summarization, and information retrieval; support RAG-based implementations connecting LLMs with structured/unstructured data; assist in developing/testing ML models, AI agents, and rule-based logic; learn AI orchestration with LangChain and n8n; build simple user interfaces and backend APIs using Python; integrate AI components with enterprise platforms (ServiceNow, SAP, Salesforce, Azure); assist with data preprocessing, testing, deployment, and documentation of AI workflows; collaborate with AI, data, and platform teams, with mentorship and gradual ownership of tasks; location: Bangalore, on-site for a 12-month internship; eligibility includes current Bachelor’s in Engineering with final-year, strong interest in AI/ML/Generative AI; required skills include Python, ML concepts, data handling, REST APIs, and basic cloud familiarity; preferred experience includes ML/NLP/Generative AI projects and exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, or RAG, plus frontend basics.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Electronics, or related fields)
- Must be in the final year of the program with approximately 12 months remaining before graduation
- Available for a full-time, on-site 12-month internship in Bangalore
- Strong interest in AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI
