Job Summary
Deliver polished video, motion, and static assets to spec using AI agents and programmatic workflows like Figma MCP, Remotion, and ffmpeg. Drive design files through connectors to produce, version, and QA content at scale, while self-proofing output against brand, rights, and technical requirements. Apply creative judgment to story, pacing, and composition, improving assets beyond the brief and encoding reusable skills into team standards. Work remotely within South Africa on a full-time contract with 33 days paid leave, reporting to production leadership in a global team of 175+ people.
Required Qualifications
- Real, demonstrable craft in video editing and/or motion and static design
- A showreel or portfolio that proves craft
- Comfort with professional creative tools like Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma
- Demonstrable, hands-on use of AI agents in real creative work
- Capability to direct AI agents through connectors and programmatic tools such as Figma MCP, Remotion, or ffmpeg
- The judgment to review AI output against brand, spec, and rights
- A systems thinker mindset
- High agency and ownership
- Unparalleled attention to detail
- Clear written communication
- Strong async habits for remote, international teamwork
- Real enthusiasm for how fast AI is moving in creative tooling
- Ability to work with AI tools and agentic workflows as the default way of working
- Ability to judge instantly when AI output is on-brand and when it isn't
- Ability to improve assets beyond the minimum brief where scope allows
- Ability to self-proof work to as close to error-free as possible before handover
- Knowledge of where AI can and can't be used in the work regarding rights and brand safety
- Ability to keep assigned work moving with sound time judgment
- Ability to diagnose blocks and escalate with clear context and options
- Ability to keep files, naming, versions, and handovers reliable
- Ability to encode best methods into reusable skills and workflows
- Ability to teach methods so the whole team levels up

- Availability for working hours 9:30am - 6pm GMT

- Experience moving to AI-first ways of working from a traditional editing or design background
- Experience starting AI-first and reaching for traditional tools where the job calls for it
- Experience with generation where it fits in creative work
- Experience improving how the work gets done by encoding methods into reusable skills and workflows
- Experience teaching methods to the team
- Experience with a properly provisioned AI stack with real access to current tools and agents
- Experience working with production managers, creative teams, and account teams across an international, remote-first company
- Experience driving improvements to completion rather than just proposing them
- Experience with a craft role where AI agents, skills, and automation are central to how work gets made
- Experience working with globally recognisable brands in US TV and entertainment
- Experience with high-end, fast computers and all the latest creative software and AI tools
- Experience with a bonus self-recorded video application
- Experience completing a short, time-boxed practical task built around a realistic brief
- Experience showing working methods including how AI was used to get tasks done
- Experience with a second interview with a senior leader
