AI-First Video Editor & Graphic Designer (Pacific Time Hours)

Job Summary
Deliver polished video, motion, and static assets for US TV and entertainment clients using AI agents and agentic workflows as your default production method. Drive design files through connectors like Figma MCP, assemble and render video programmatically with Remotion and ffmpeg, and execute versioning, caption passes, and QA checks. Apply sharp creative judgment to review AI output against brand, spec, and rights, ensuring self-proofed, error-free handovers. Treat rights and brand safety as fixed points while keeping assigned work moving with sound time judgment. Improve how the work gets done by encoding reusable skills and workflows that teammates and agents can adopt. Work remotely with production managers and creative teams, bringing forward better ways of working to become the new team standard.
Required Qualifications
- Real, demonstrable craft in video editing and/or motion and static design
- A showreel or portfolio that proves craft
- Comfort with professional creative tools like Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma
- Demonstrable, hands-on use of AI agents in real creative work
- Capability to direct AI agents through connectors and programmatic tools such as Figma MCP, Remotion, or ffmpeg
- The judgment to review AI output against brand, spec, and rights
- A systems thinker approach to repeatable production work
- High agency and ownership
- Unparalleled attention to detail
- Clear written communication
- Strong async habits for remote, international teamwork
- Real enthusiasm for how fast AI is moving in creative tooling
- The ability to work in Pacific Time hours (9:30am–6pm PT, Monday to Friday)
- Full-time, permanent employment status

- Experience running versioning, reformatting, caption passes, exports, and QA checks through workflows
- Experience with rights and brand safety, including knowing exactly where AI can and can't be used
- Experience diagnosing blocks and escalating with clear context and options
- Experience keeping files, naming, versions, and handovers reliable
- Experience with a properly provisioned AI stack with real access to current tools and agents
- Experience working with production managers, creative teams, and account teams across an international, remote-first company
- Experience bringing forward better ways of working and having them become the new standard
- Experience showing working methods in a practical task
- A showreel or portfolio (optional but would be a bonus)
