AI-First Project Manager

Job Summary
Own end-to-end delivery of client projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, and communication while using AI to prioritize backlogs, re-forecast schedules, monitor health, and generate status reports. Keep clients informed with clear, proactive updates and surface issues before they escalate. Build reusable AI workflows, prompts, and automations that improve the entire delivery team's efficiency. Continuously evaluate new AI tools against real delivery problems and collaborate closely with architects, consultants, account managers, and stakeholders. Document learnings to improve the practice and help shape the future of AI-first project management at Elantis. Full-time role in Edmonton, Alberta; competitive compensation with bonus structure and hybrid work arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated hands-on use of AI tools in real work — Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, automation platforms, or similar
- You should be able to show us what you've built and how it changed the way you work
- Strong organizational skills, follow-through, and comfort owning timelines, commitments, and details
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the confidence to work directly with clients
- A continuous improvement mindset and genuine drive to find a better way — we don't want to be stuck doing things the way they have always been done
- Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to build things that don't exist yet in a small, fast-moving consulting environment
Desired Qualifications
- Formal project management experience and certifications (PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP) are welcome but not required
- Exposure to Microsoft 365, Teams, Planner, Project, Power Platform, or Copilot is considered an asset
