Job Summary
Dynatrace AI-first Information Developer role focused on architecting cross-domain knowledge, curating AI-generated content, designing prompts and reusable templates, and ensuring modular, machine-readable documentation. You will partner with SMEs, Product, and AI teams to scope knowledge work, define structure, and drive quality across an AI-powered documentation pipeline. Responsibilities include building structured content models and metadata, guiding the lifecycle of documentation, mentoring junior writers, and contributing to evolving authoring standards. The role emphasizes craft in concise, clear copy for both human readers and AI consumption, with collaboration across a global R&D team and experience in docs-as-code workflows using Markdown, Git, and related tooling. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing, information development, or a closely related content-engineering discipline
- Hands-on experience operating an AI-first authoring workflow
- Experience treating documentation as structured data
- Experience contributing to information architecture within a product domain
- Demonstrated ability to autonomously scope a knowledge project across complex, cross-domain product areas
- Strong editorial judgment when reviewing AI-generated drafts and peer work
- Superb written English with ability to write for humans and AI consumers
- Ability to communicate with engineers to executives across an organization
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment
- Proficiency with Markdown, Git, Jira, and the command line
