AI Finance Specialist

Job Summary
Analyze and map complex accounting, treasury, and operational processes to design AI-driven workflows that automate manual finance activities. Work with modern AI tools and LLMs to build, test, and improve processes while defining business rules, controls, and governance frameworks. Monitor and validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and compliance, then identify inefficiencies to redesign processes from first principles. Build concepts, workflows, prompts, and operational playbooks, collaborating with finance, product, engineering, and operations teams to implement solutions from idea to execution. Continuously explore new AI tools to improve financial operations within a small, entrepreneurial team in Vienna.
Required Qualifications
- 1–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, controlling, consulting, or a similar field
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial processes
- Genuine interest in AI, automation, and emerging technologies
- Curious mindset and desire to challenge traditional ways of working
- Ability to think in systems, processes, and workflows
- Comfortable learning new tools and technologies quickly
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent English communication skills
