Job Summary
Design and develop AI solutions for advanced driving functions ranging from L2 to L4 automation, addressing diverse operating domain challenges. Architect technical frameworks tailored for deployment across multiple operating conditions and implement key technologies such as end-to-end models, VLA, and world models. Lead industry technology forefronts by exploring innovative approaches to safer autonomous driving and robotics. This role requires a Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant technical field with over five years of experience in ADAS/ADS, including successful product deployment. Candidates must demonstrate strong advanced technical drive and the ability to motivate team members, with proficiency in English and German or Chinese preferred. The position involves up to 25% time working abroad at Huawei's Heisenberg Research Center in Munich.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field
- 5+ years of work experience in the ADAS/ADS field
- successful product deployment experience in different ODDs
- Experience in implementing key AI technologies for autonomous driving/robotics, such as end-to-end models, VLA, world models, and RL
- professional-level English proficiency
- Willingness to work abroad (up to 25% of total working time)
- ability to motivate and inspire team members
