AI Enterprise Architect

Job Summary
Lead the design and delivery of enterprise AI architecture at QVC Group. Define scalable, secure, and responsible AI ecosystems across data, models, platforms, governance, and business integration; establish AI engineering standards including MLOps and LLMOps; set governance guardrails for security, privacy, model risk, bias mitigation, auditability, and cost efficiency; mentor teams and drive adoption of AI capabilities from concept through production and optimization; collaborate with product, engineering, data science, security, and business leadership to translate business strategy into production-ready AI solutions across retail and digital commerce domains.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise/solution architecture, software engineering, data platforms, distributed systems, and AI/ML delivery
- Hands-on AI production experience
- Cloud platform expertise (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud)
- CI/CD, IaC, containerization, platform automation
- MLOps/LLMOps, generative AI, large language models, RAG
- Retail/digital commerce familiarity
- Ethical AI, governance, compliance, cost-efficiency
- Reference architectures and solution assurance
Desired Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience across enterprise architecture, solution architecture, software engineering, data platforms, distributed systems, and AI/ML delivery
- Expertise in enterprise AI architecture and governance, including AI/ML solution design, ethical AI, compliance, and alignment to business strategy
- Hands-on experience delivering AI solutions into production, including deployment, integration, monitoring, and optimization
- Knowledge of cloud-native AI and data platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containerization, and platform automation
- Experience with modern AI practices and technologies (MLOps, LLMOps, generative AI, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, AI assistants, agent-based workflows)
- Familiarity with retail and digital commerce ecosystems (Order Management, Pricing, Forecasting, CRM, Supply Chain)
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or certifications in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, Enterprise Architecture, or Data Architecture preferred
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and collaboration skills
- Ability to translate business needs into production-ready AI solutions and align technology portfolios to future-state vision
