Job Summary
Lead and mentor a team of AI and software engineers while improving end-to-end development of custom AI solutions from architecture through production deployment. Partner with enterprise architects and business stakeholders to prioritize work, define technical roadmaps, and establish engineering best practices for MLOps, LLMOps, and responsible AI. Evaluate latest AI technologies to guide the use of scalable platforms that accelerate solution delivery. This role requires 7+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years leading teams, plus hands-on expertise in LLMs, RAG, and cloud-native architectures on Azure, AWS, or GCP. Based in an in-office setting, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance innovation with security and governance.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years leading engineering teams delivering enterprise ready solutions
- 2+ years industry experience with focus on building and deploying AI and GenAI applications
- Broad technology experience throughout systems development lifecycle, and various areas of technology architecture (infrastructure, application architecture, data architecture, integration)
- Hands-on experience building and deploying AI/GenAI applications using LLMs, RAG, AI agents, vector databases
- Experience with cloud-native architectures, APIs, DevOps/MLOps, with experience deploying AI solutions in platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, communicate complex technical concepts to partners, and balance innovation with security, governance, and responsible AI practices
- Experience with the investment management and wealth management industry
- Be a coach, building the design and development skills of other team members
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience
