Job Summary
AI Engineer at Ovative Group responsible for building and maintaining integrations between the enterprise AI platform and tools used across the organization; implementing multi-step automated workflows with write-back logic to update operational systems; serving as a technical resource for domain experts; collaborating with IT, enablement, and domain teams; ensuring security and reliability; contributing to post-deployment monitoring, documentation, and training; working in a production environment with users who are primarily non-engineers.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or applied technical roles
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience writing production-quality code
- Experience building API integrations or connecting enterprise SaaS platforms through standard integration patterns, including write-back and bidirectional data flows
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience with Databricks is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated hands-on experience working with large language models in production
- Experience applying security requirements in production systems (access controls, credential management, audit logging, least privilege)
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices
- Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar tool-use and agent orchestration frameworks
- Ability to work across technical and non-technical teammates
- Preferred experience with Claude Enterprise or Anthropic API
- Exposure to project management, analytics, or communications platform integrations
- Prior experience in a marketing analytics, media, or professional services environment
