Job Summary
Design, build, deploy, and maintain robust AI agents that automate investment research workflows, including idea generation, data analytics, trend monitoring, strategy development, and backtesting. Equip these agents with specialized financial tools, APIs, and data sources while implementing rigid safety guardrails and alignment protocols to ensure reliable, compliant behavior. Establish testing frameworks, monitor system performance in production, and iterate rapidly based on real-world data. Partner closely with product management, operations, and quantitative research teams to align agent capabilities with user needs and platform objectives. This role focuses on the intersection of generative AI and quantitative finance within a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong core engineering fundamentals with a proven track record of writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code
- Demonstrated ability to own technical systems from initial concept and architecture through to deployment and monitoring
- Hands-on experience or significant projects involving AI models, LLMs, or agentic frameworks
- A willingness to learn the domain of financial markets and investing
- Based in, or willing to relocate to, Shanghai or the US West Coast
- Open to fully remote arrangements for highly qualified West Coast candidates
