Job Summary
AI Engineer to embed directly with a global private equity firm and deliver AI-powered automation that boosts productivity across analysts, operations teams, and investment professionals. Responsibilities include building and deploying AI agents and agentic workflows using the client’s internal framework and modern orchestration tools, designing RAG pipelines (chunking, embeddings, vector stores), processing financial documents into machine-readable outputs, integrating REST APIs to connect workflows with data infrastructure, owning the full delivery cycle from scoping to handover, instrumenting agents for observability and testing, and proactive client communication to surface blockers and document solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Python development experience
- Hands-on experience building agentic AI workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar
- Experience with Claude API (Anthropic) - prompt engineering, tool use, multi-turn conversations, streaming
- Practical knowledge of RAG pipeline design: chunking, embedding models, vector stores
- Experience with document processing: PDF/DOCX extraction, structured output generation, table parsing
- Comfort integrating REST APIs and working across the stack - data transformation, prompt engineering, deployment
- Strong written and spoken English (Upper-Intermediate minimum) for direct async communication with the client team
- Proactive working style: raise issues early, communicate without prompting, and treat documentation as part of the deliverable
- Experience in a regulated or security-sensitive environment, or demonstrable commitment to data integrity and auditability
