Job Summary
Prepare, select, train, and evaluate machine learning models while integrating them into frontend and backend systems. Optimize AI solutions to reduce latency and cost, ensuring accuracy and reliability in production environments. Collaborate with the Technical Lead to ensure robust deployment and monitoring of AI solutions. Own the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle and communicate technical opportunities and limitations to the team and customers. This role supports Ignite Digital's mission to accelerate decisions for national security agencies by delivering outcome-driving partnerships and intelligent solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Strong foundation in machine learning fundamentals and software engineering principles
- Proficiency in Python, cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and application frameworks
- Ability to design, implement, and evaluate models for real-world business use cases
- Experience with APIs, microservices, and system integration
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, statistics, or similar
- Must be able to communicate with a wide variety of individuals with varying levels of technical experience
- Must be organized
- Must have strong time management and planning abilities
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Python, Snowflake, Github, Azure, and software engineering lifecycle
- Experience with MLOps practices for scalable deployment
- Experience in government or defense projects with security compliance
- Knowledge of observability tools and performance monitoring
- Extensive knowledge of Snowflake, Python, Azure, Github
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Customer service focused and consulting ability
