Job Summary
AI Engineer with a focus on bridging data science and production environments. Responsible for turning ML/GenAI solutions into reliable, scalable production systems across customer projects, using ML, GenAI and/or Optimizer tech. Works across tech stacks (Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Kubernetes) to build end-to-end solutions in collaboration with data scientists, cloud engineers and developers. Projects include building an MLOps/Data Science lab for enterprise AI teams, deploying GenAI solutions for document processing, and productionizing OR models for logistics/workforce planning. Requires strong Python programming, CI/CD and Git, cloud platform experience, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and MLOps tooling (MLflow, Kubeflow, Azure ML). Fluency in Dutch and English; 4-8 years relevant experience; part-time work possible; comprehensive benefits package and a focus on learning and development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor- or master-diploma in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong programming skills in Python (OO programming, algorithms and data structures)
- Experience with CI/CD, Git and software engineering best practices
- Proficient in at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, CDK)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and MLOps frameworks (MLflow, Kubeflow, Azure ML)
- 4-8 years of relevant AI/ML or software engineering experience
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Excellent command of Dutch and English
