Job Summary
Design, develop and deliver AI-powered features end-to-end in production-ready, customer-centric applications for a Frankfurt-based Partner. You will evaluate and integrate AI/ML services and open-source models, shape the AI/ML tech stack, build eval frameworks to ensure AI outputs meet quality and safety standards, and collaborate with product and engineering to identify high-impact AI opportunities and grow AI competency across the team. The role leverages a modern tech stack (Angular, Node/TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Azure) and focuses on turning proofs of concept into scalable product features within a cross-functional environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with proven hands-on AI/ML experience (e.g. LLM integration, data pipelines, ML model deployment)
- Strong software engineering fundamentals: writing well-structured application code with modern development practices
- Experience with modern AI/ML frameworks such as LangChain/LangGraph, vector databases, and OpenAI APIs
- Familiarity with TypeScript and web frameworks
- The ability to move fast from proof of concept to production, with an experimental yet methodical approach
- Strong conceptual thinking — able to connect the dots and communicate technical trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Professional proficiency in both German and English (written and spoken)
