Job Summary
Design and develop production-grade AI and machine learning solutions for high-profile clients, architecting data pipelines and optimizing models for scalability. Build and deploy GenAI systems, including fine-tuned LLMs and NLP applications, while implementing MLOps practices like CI/CD and model monitoring on cloud platforms. Research emerging frameworks to enhance solution effectiveness and champion responsible AI principles, ensuring fairness and compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights and continuously evaluate deployed systems for performance and cost-efficiency. This hands-on role within Deloitte's AI Scaling and Transformation team focuses on delivering tangible business value through cutting-edge digital transformation.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related STEM discipline
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience developing and deploying AI and ML solutions in business or research environments
- Solid background in deploying data-driven and AI applications into production
- Experience working on data-driven projects within regulated or data-rich industries (financial services, healthcare, public sector)
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, R)
- Hands-on experience developing, training, and deploying ML models
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with data mining and exploratory data analysis
- Practical experience with leading AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, XGBoost)
- Experience designing and building ML pipelines and infrastructure for large-scale, distributed datasets
- Familiarity with advanced AI techniques: deep learning, NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning, and Generative AI
- Experience building and deploying GenAI solutions, including prompt engineering and fine-tuning LLMs
- Understanding of MLOps principles: automated model training, CI/CD for ML, model versioning, monitoring, and retraining
- Experience deploying AI solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Awareness of responsible AI practices: model interpretability, fairness, bias mitigation, and ethical considerations
