Job Summary
AI Engineer at Colliers to architect and deploy sophisticated AI agents and generative workflows on Google Cloud Platform. Responsibilities include building autonomous agents, fine-tuning LLMs, translating business problems into scalable AI solutions, integrating AI capabilities into applications with engineering and infrastructure teams, owning end-to-end MLOps on GCP (data pipelines, CI/CD, monitoring, and scalability), evaluating state-of-the-art AI technologies, and producing comprehensive documentation and runbooks. Must collaborate with business stakeholders, communicate complex AI concepts clearly, and stay current with generative AI advancements.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years in AI/ML engineering or related software engineering role
- Proficiency in Python and core AI/ML libraries
- Strong SQL experience
- Hands-on experience with vector databases (e.g., Vertex AI Vector Search) for RAG implementations
- Experience building, fine-tuning, and deploying production-grade Generative AI systems and multi-step agentic workflows
- Experience with modern agent frameworks (Google's ADK or LangChain/LlamaIndex)
- Strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI)
- Understanding of deploying AI in production (model limitations, scalability, reliability)
- Experience designing evaluation frameworks to measure accuracy, latency, and cost of AI workflows
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholders
- Ability to design and maintain data pipelines, CI/CD for ML models
- Ability to create engineering documentation (architecture diagrams, model cards, runbooks)
