Job Summary
AI Engineer role focused on designing, building, and operating production-grade ML/AI platforms and pipelines. You will develop CI/CD deployments for ML/AI applications, orchestrate workloads with Docker/Kubernetes, apply MLOps best practices, and implement generative AI/LLM solutions (including Claude-like models) with retrieval-augmented generation and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone). Responsibilities include building scalable architecture for LLM-powered applications, implementing monitoring, versioning, and retraining, and collaborating with data scientists, software engineers, and infrastructure teams to translate requirements into reliable production systems. Key technologies and concepts include Python, Git/GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, Prefect, CI/CD, cloud services (AWS), LLMOps, LangGraph, vector databases, RAG, and production observability. The role emphasizes independent technical delivery, strong communication, and alignment with Agile or Scrum practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience building and operating ML/AI pipelines in production environments
- Strong proficiency in Python with production-quality code
- Experience with containerization, orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines in production
- Working knowledge of AWS cloud services and designing/deploying solutions using managed services
- Experience developing or deploying LLM-based applications including prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation
- Familiarity with MLOps practices including model versioning, monitoring, automated retraining, and deployment strategies
- Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into scalable implementations and communicate with technical and business audiences
- Experience contributing to technical design decisions and working in Agile/Scrum environments
