Job Summary
HALA seeks an AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI, machine learning, and generative AI solutions for fintech applications in the MENAP region. Responsibilities include building AI-powered tools (chatbots, copilots, workflow automation), data preparation for model training and deployment, integrating models via APIs, fine-tuning and monitoring model performance, collaborating with product/engineering/data teams to identify AI use cases, ensuring data privacy/security/governance, and documenting models, workflows, and technical designs. Qualifications emphasize strong Python skills and experience with ML frameworks; preferred experience includes OpenAI/Azure OpenAI/AWS Bedrock/Vertex AI, LangChain, Pinecone, FAISS, and fintech domain exposure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in AI, machine learning, data science, or software engineering.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.
- Knowledge of LLMs, NLP, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG.
- Experience with APIs, cloud platforms, and production deployment.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
