Job Summary
Design, build, and deploy scalable applications using generative AI tools to solve business problems like call center summarization and process automation. Rapidly prototype proof-of-concepts to validate ideas before production, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and integrate AI into workflows. Continuously research emerging AI technologies to ensure cutting-edge solutions, participate in code reviews for quality standards, and document solutions for team knowledge sharing. This 6-month contract-to-hire role with LRS Consulting Services in Central Illinois leverages frameworks like OpenAI and Anthropic to accelerate development and automate operations.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C#, JavaScript)
- Hands-on experience using AI/ML frameworks, APIs, or tools such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, or similar models
- Familiarity with generative AI concepts such as agentic coding, prompt engineering, and large language model integrations
- Ability to build, test, and deploy cloud-based applications
- Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills
- Expert Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)
- Candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer
