Job Summary
AI Developer role focused on building the AI backbone of a production SaaS product for property managers. Responsibilities include designing and implementing retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, embedding and vector-search strategies, multi-step agent loops, LLM integrations (Claude/OpenAI), and evaluation pipelines to measure and improve output quality. The role emphasizes architectural decisions around embedding models, chunking approaches, evaluation metrics, and balancing quality, latency, and cost, with collaboration across product and engineering to ship features end-to-end.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience building RAG systems in production
- Experience with embeddings and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, etc.)
- Experience building multi-step agent loops or reasoning systems
- Familiarity with Claude API and/or OpenAI API
- Strong TypeScript and Python
- Understanding of LLM limitations (hallucination, context windows, latency, cost)
