Job Summary

Enhance data usage and deliver AI-based and machine-learning solutions while participating in building and supporting the AI foundations used by the company's different teams. Evolve AI-based and machine-learning software products, leveraging deep understanding of GenAI, agentic AI, and MLOps practices including CI/CD for models and reproducible deployments. Utilize AI coding assistants to accelerate development workflows and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, 5+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in production ML/AI systems, and proficiency in Python, AWS services (Bedrock, AgentCore, SageMaker), Google Cloud Platform, and Terraform. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada; bilingualism is required for Quebec locations. Salary range is $94,200 - $115,200 for a 35-hour workweek, with a hybrid work model and up to 5 extra days off per year.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • 3+ years building ML or AI systems in production environments
  • Strong proficiency in Python
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks
  • Experience with AWS services relevant to AI/ML workloads: Bedrock, AgentCore, SageMaker
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with Terraform
  • Deep understanding of GenAI and agentic AI fundamentals: prompt engineering, RAG architectures, agentic orchestration patterns, and evaluation methodologies
  • Experience with MLOps practices: CI/CD for models, monitoring, experiment tracking, and reproducible deployments
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Copilot, etc.) to accelerate development workflows
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Bilingualism (for candidates located in Quebec)
  • Eligible to work in Canada
