Job Summary
AI Developer on the Air Power team responsible for training, testing, deploying, and maintaining models that learn from data; collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and product owners to deliver mission-critical AI solutions; apply Agentic Frameworks to guide ML strategy for DoD contexts; work within Booz Allen’s security and compliance environment and pursue secure-by-design practices; role requires Secret clearance and aligns with Booz Allen’s work model (remote/hybrid/onsite as applicable).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Data Science
- 2+ years of experience building production-grade software in Python, TypeScript, or Java with APIs and data services (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, REST, GraphQL, SQL)
- Experience developing and deploying AI-enabled applications (LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows)
- Experience building secure data foundations on enterprise cloud platforms (AWS)
- Experience designing event-driven integrations and workflow automation
- Experience implementing MLOps/DevSecOps practices (CI/CD, containerization, automated testing, model evaluation)
- Secret clearance
