Job Summary
Design and develop machine learning models and algorithms tailored to program requirements, then implement and optimize AI/ML solutions for production deployment. Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate these models into production systems while analyzing large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights. Develop, tune, and continuously improve model performance and accuracy, maintaining documentation of experiments and performance metrics. Apply current advancements in AI/ML technologies and integrate observability tooling into engineering workflows, managing CI/CD pipelines and Git-based code management for model deployment. Requires 5–10 years of experience, proficiency in Python or R, and a Public Trust clearance.
Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in AI/ML development
- Proficiency in Python, R, or JavaScript; experience with Terraform
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and principles
- Expertise managing CI/CD pipelines and Git-based version control
- Experience integrating observability/monitoring tools into ML engineering pipelines
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Public Trust suitability determination
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Experience with cloud AI/ML platforms (Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI) preferred
