Job Summary
AI Developer on the Air Power team responsible for training, testing, deploying, and maintaining models; collaborating with data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and product owners to deliver mission-critical AI solutions; building production-grade software and AI-enabled applications, implementing secure data foundations on enterprise cloud platforms, designing event-driven integrations, and applying MLOps/DevSecOps practices. Requires current security clearance and a BA/BS in a related field. Compensation range provided; full-time role based in Beavercreek, OH.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience building production-grade software in Python, TypeScript, or Java with APIs and data services (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, REST, GraphQL, or SQL)
- Experience developing and deploying AI-enabled applications such as LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows
- Experience building secure data foundations on enterprise cloud platforms such as AWS (governed ingest and file exchange, data catalog and metadata, data mesh-style data products)
- Ability to design event-driven integrations and workflow automation (asynchronous messaging or audit logging)
- Ability to implement MLOps or DevSecOps practices (CI/CD, containerization, automated testing, or model evaluation)
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Data Science
