Job Summary
Serve as the primary technical advisor for Global Affairs partnerships, guiding government and nonprofit agencies from discovery through sustainable adoption of high-impact AI use cases. Design demonstrations, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts tailored to partner missions while translating complex technical concepts into accessible guidance for non-technical audiences. Conduct workshops, office hours, and implementation sessions to support workforce organizations, educational institutions, and small businesses in deploying OpenAI products. Forge relationships with stakeholder leadership to ensure successful application scale and represent their feedback to internal teams for product planning.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of technical consulting (or equivalent) experience
- Proficiency in Python and Javascript
- Experience building and/or delivering prototypes on top of the API platform
- Experience leading complex technical projects and programs with many stakeholders
- Ability to proactively identify opportunities for maximizing stakeholder value through leveraging the OpenAI API
- Ability to own problems end-to-end
- Willingness to pick up whatever knowledge is missing to get the job done
- Humble attitude and eagerness to help others with empathy
- Ability to operate with high horsepower, be adept at frequent context switching, work on multiple projects at once with expansive ownership, and ruthlessly prioritize
- Ability to thrive in dynamic environments and navigate ambiguity with ease
- Use of expertise in programming with Python and Javascript

- Experience proactively providing guidance to Global Affairs stakeholders on how to maximize business impact from their applications
- Experience experimenting and prototyping solutions with and for stakeholders
- Experience forging and managing relationships with stakeholders' leadership to ensure their application's successful deployment and scale
- Experience representing the voice of GA stakeholders with internal teams, gathering and relaying feedback and identifying themes to incorporate into product planning
