Job Summary

Design and develop real-time computer vision and AI algorithms for mission-critical applications, including object detection, tracking, and perception systems. Develop production-quality software in C/C++ and Python for embedded and high-performance computing environments, optimizing execution on diverse platforms. Evaluate and prototype emerging technologies such as neuromorphic AI and event-driven sensing, then integrate machine learning techniques into operational software systems. Create automated testing methodologies and prepare technical documentation for government customers. Transition research concepts into operational capability while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with eligibility to obtain SCI with CI Poly
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, or related technical discipline
  • 3-5 years developing software using C/C++
  • Experience developing software using Python
  • Experience developing software for computer vision, image processing, or AI/ML applications
  • Experience with object detection, image analysis, tracking, or sensor processing
  • Experience with Linux software development
  • Experience with Git and collaborative software development practices
  • Strong problem-solving and software engineering skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and government customers

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with one or more of the following: object tracking, sensor fusion, autonomous perception, or advanced computer vision
  • Experience developing AI applications for embedded, heterogeneous, or edge computing platforms
  • Experience applying AI and computer vision techniques to EO/IR imagery, remote sensing, video analytics, or advanced sensor processing
  • Experience with event-based vision, neuromorphic sensing, Spiking Neural Networks (SNNs), or related AI frameworks
  • Experience transitioning AI algorithms into operational software
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, aerospace, or other mission-critical programs
  • Demonstrated ability and interest in learning new technologies and contributing across multiple technical disciplines and programs
