AI Compliance Strategy Associate (NYC)

Job Summary
Advise financial services customers on deploying AI controls to mitigate legal, compliance, and reputational risk by running workshops and translating regulations into practical guardrail designs. Design, document, and test global guardrails aligned with emerging laws while establishing QA processes for annotation and validation. Partner with product teams to enhance guardrail usability and oversee production deployment, then report on accuracy, performance, and adoption metrics. Lead efforts to enable AI usage across the customer base by communicating technical capabilities and shaping new risk management features. Design and execute open and closed-door roundtables among industry leaders to advance market engagement and product strategy. This role reports to the Head of AI Compliance Strategy and requires 30% business travel.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in strategy consulting, risk management, or product strategy, or a related field
- Familiarity with AI governance concepts and best practices
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Familiarity with financial services, risk management structures and processes
- Familiarity with process, risk, and controls processes and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing polished client-facing materials
- Program management experience, with the ability to manage multiple work streams, track milestones, and report on progress
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders across domains and geographies
- Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and drive projects from research through execution
- Comfortable with business travel (30% estimated)
