Job Summary
Capco’s AI Business Consultant role focuses on turning AI ambitions into practical transformations for financial services. You’ll translate business challenges into AI use cases, support workshops and requirements gathering, coordinate delivery activities, and help embed AI tools (e.g., GPT, Copilot) into client workflows. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to test, validate, and rollout AI-enabled solutions with human-in-the-loop controls, while delivering stakeholder engagement, training, and change adoption to scale AI responsibly in regulated environments. The role spans business transformation, change management, project delivery, and AI commercialization, with emphasis on practical, human-led delivery across Banking & Payments, Capital Markets, Wealth & Asset Management, and Insurance, and requires strong communication with business and technology stakeholders, knowledge of AI governance, and familiarity with Agile delivery. Required Qualifications
- Experience working within financial services environments with SME-level exposure to Banking & Payments, Capital Markets, Wealth & Asset Management, or Insurance
- Strong understanding of AI tools and the wider AI/ML ecosystem (GPT, Copilot, generative AI, NLP) and practical AI-infused ways of working
- Experience supporting transformation programmes, product delivery, or process improvement initiatives with responsibilities aligned to Business Analysis or Project Management
- Ability to engage confidently with stakeholders across business and technology teams, translating complex concepts into clear, practical, and commercially relevant outcomes
- Collaborative and adaptable mindset with interest in navigating governance, risk, and change aspects of AI adoption within regulated environments and curiosity to experiment responsibly with approved AI tools
- Bonus points for previous consulting/advisory experience in professional services; familiarity with AI governance, model risk management, and enterprise AI platforms
