Job Summary
The AI Builder is a full-stack engineering role focused on building AI-enabled solutions and data pipelines across departments. Responsibilities include prototyping and deploying integrations between internal platforms and third-party APIs (HubSpot, Gong, Jira, Confluence, GitHub...), building MCP servers to connect enterprise tools to the internal AI platform, deploying production-ready AI applications with RAG pipelines and agentic workflows, and contributing to infrastructure decisions for the company’s internal AI platform on Google Vertex AI. Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and 2–5 years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack fundamentals, data pipelines, production-grade integrations, and hands-on experience with LLM-based systems; preferred exposure to ESG/SaaS environments and Google Cloud Platform. The role emphasizes collaboration with business teams across sales, marketing, product, and customer success, and offers remote-friendly arrangements with an office in Old Montreal, Quebec.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2–5 years of experience in software engineering roles, with demonstrated ownership of production systems end-to-end.
- Solid full-stack engineering fundamentals — backend services, relational and document databases, REST and webhook integrations, async patterns, and cloud deployment (GCP preferred).
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines and system integrations in production environments.
- Practical experience with LLM-based systems in production — including RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and LLM integrations.
- Experience with agentic frameworks and tool-integration protocols — such as LangChain, LangGraph, Google ADK, or MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Curious, self-directed, and biased toward action — able to work directly with non-technical stakeholders, move fast in ambiguous situations, and drive problems to resolution without heavy oversight.
