Job Summary
AI Automation Engineer role leading design, build, and ongoing optimization of AI-powered automation solutions for internal operations and client engagements. Responsible for translating scoped requirements into production-grade automation workflows using n8n, Python, and integrated APIs (ConnectWise, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, etc.). Build intelligent systems with multi-stage AI classification, automated compliance/billing reviews, and monitoring tools. Develop provider-abstracted AI architectures with OpenAI, Ollama, and other LLMs, plus configurable confidence thresholds and fallback logic. Lead client delivery engagements, participate in discovery, and present results to stakeholders. Create reusable delivery frameworks, templates, and documentation to scale AI consulting across clients. Enable AI adoption internally by building training materials and tools, track adoption metrics, and contribute to responsible AI usage governance (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot). Location: Grand Rapids, MI; 100% onsite; US work authorization required; no visa sponsorship.
